Asche auf mein Haupt! Keine neuen Beiträge hier im Blog und kommentiert habe ich auch kaum in der letzten Woche. Viel zu viel Arbeit seit meiner Rückkehr und von daher auch kaum Zeit zum Stricken. Aber ich will doch einen kurzen Zwischenstand abgeben zum Rannoch Dress: bin am Vorderteil kurz vor den Armausschnitten und dann müßte es doch schnell gehen mit dem Rest.
I’m wearing sackcloth and ashes! No entroes here in blog and I didn’t comment in other blogs the last week. Too much work, less time to knit. But I want to give you a short interim report about Rannoch Dress: I’m knitting the front and soon I will come to the armholes and then the rest will be knit soon.

Weil ich teilweise zu müde war, um mich auf die Zöpfe am Kleid zu konzentrieren, habe ich den Schal aus Rowan Cocoon angefangen. Ich bin immer noch am ersten Knäuel und das Teil misst jetzt schon 45cm, so daß ich mit den vier Knäueln einen herrlich langen Schal hinbekommen müßte. Cocoon ist ein Traum, fühlt sich herrlich weich an und läßt sich gut stricken. Eines Tages werde ich mir daraus ein größeres Stück gönnen.
Because some evenings I was too tired to knit the cables of the dress I’ve begun a simple shawl with the Rowan Cocoon I bought in London. Still the first ball the shawls measures 45cm yet, so the four balls will be enough for a wonderful long shawl. I love Cocoon! It’s so soft. One day I will knit a bigger piece with this yarn.

A propos größeres Stück. Obwohl ich ja eigentlich keine Zeit habe, muß ich doch die ganze Zeit an einen Strickmantel denken. Ich habe mir die Filati 34 besorgt, da sind einige nette drin und nun denke ich darüber nach, welches Modell es wohl nach dem Kleid werden soll.
By the way: although I havn’t enough time I’m thinking every day about a knitted coat. I’m reading Filati 34, there are a few nice patterns for a coat but I don’t know yet which of them I will knit when I have finished the dress.
